Monthly house show

Each month we host a different performer — some solo, some groups; some local, some touring; usually music, sometimes movement, sometimes spoken word. The series is organized by CassiRaye Ponton and John Labovitz.

Shows are held on the first Saturday of the month from 6pm to 9pm. The performance will start around 7pm. You’re welcome to stay on for a while after the show.

This is a potluck! Bring a simple dish (enough for four people is good) and a beverage if you like. We’ll provide water, soda, & iced tea.

Admission is free, but please bring a donation to support our hard-working musicians and the organizers. $5–10 per person will ensure that the music continues!

Kids and guests are welcome.

The show is held at John’s purple house on Uphill Farm, in beautiful Back Creek Valley, near the village of Shanghai, about 20 minutes west of Martinsburg, West Virginia, about two hours west of DC. RSVP to events@uphillfarm.org for directions.
